There’s a new hot chicken place in town—Howlin’ Willy’s Hot Chicken!
First, Willy made his mark on Atlanta 26 years ago by opening Willy’s Mexicana Grill and serving huge California-style burritos. Now, Willy’s is bringing Nashville-style hot chicken to Atlanta!
It all started with Willy’s love of travel and obsession with heat. As Willy always says, “If I’m not sweating, it’s time for more heat!” This love of all things spicy led Willy to Nashville and the city’s famous Hot Chicken.
Willy was smitten, but Nashville’s more than three hours away! How was he going to keep getting his fix? Well, by doing exactly what he did with Willy’s Mexicana Grill! That’s right, Willy decided to bring his own hot chicken right here to Atlanta.
With Willy’s extensive knowledge of chili peppers, he immediately began experimenting to find that perfect sweet spot of heat and flavor. After many attempts (and many burning tongues!), Willy’s new hot chicken recipe is ready for Atlantans!
Luckily, Howlin’ Willy’s is ready for everyone, no matter if you like things on the mild side or the Howlin’, Ghost Pepper-hot side! Simply choose from Not Hot, Kinda’ Hot, Willy Hot, and Howlin’, then take your pick of tenders, sandwiches, wings, or salad!
For tenders, you can do a 3-tender plate with 2 regular sides and choice of 2 dips, or an 8-tender box that comes with 3 large sides and choice of 4 dips. Our four delicious dips are: ranch, buttermilk vinaigrette, honey mustard, or comeback sauce.
For sandwiches, we’ve got three tasty options!
- Willy’s Chicken Sandwich, which comes with coleslaw, comeback sauce, and pickles
- The Comeback Club, which comes with comeback sauce, lettuce, tomato, cheddar cheese, and bacon
- The Jalapeño Honey, which comes with a honey drizzle, serrano crema, flash-fried jalapeños, and Willy’s guacamole.
When it comes to wings at Howlin’ Willy’s, choose between a 4-wing plate or 8-wing box. The plate comes with 1 side and 2 dips, while the box comes with 3 large sides and 4 dips.
Last but not least, we’ve got the Chicken Tender Salad, which has chopped tenders laid on a bed of crisp and cool lettuce, tomatoes, four-cheese blend, cole slaw, and bacon crumbles. It comes with your choice of 2 tasty dressings.
Howlin’ Willy’s has delicious sides as well! We’re talkin’ crinkle-cut fries, mac & cheese, baked beans, or cole slaw. You can also splurge for our Ultimate Fries, which are our addictive crinkle-cut fries topped with cheese dip and crumbled bacon.
And don’t forget about dessert! Willy loves to pair his heat with a little sweet, and we think you will too! Try our fried apple hand pie, which is sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar, or a classic soft serve ice cream. And if you really want to splurge, they just happen to go together perfectly! For the adults, we also serve ice cold beer and margaritas, on the rocks or frozen.
